weekend recap

this weekend we didn't do much. mike ended up going to the michigan/notre dame game on saturday with his dad and buddy brent. we had kim and gary come over later that evening to watch another game. sunday i went to a tastefully simple open house. i got to try some of their new products and bought the english toffee beverage mix, an alfredo sauce mix, wahoo chili seasoning + the gingerbread mix. i'm going back today for a couple of the chocolatini mix {add baileys carmel in it- yum! and not coffee tasting at all} that i forgot to buy yesterday. i need to store up on the two beverage mixes for the winter. {their products are a little pricey}

thursday kaylee was in a silly mood. she wanted to stay in her pj's all day, the same ones from the previous posts. i told her to at least get some undies on since i still have her in pull-ups at night. this is how she put on her undies:

she's a funny girl. mike came home that afternoon and since he was feeling guilty for being gone he wanted to get kaylee a bike {this will be part of her birthday present} while the weather's still decent. the next morning the first words out of her mouth was "sure is a beautiful day to ride my bike". it was raining. again.and i snuck this one of ham. i got him while he was talking to mike about a car that he's wanting. we went over to a car dealership to take a look at the one he's been eyeing on-line before we went and got kaylee's bike.he sure is a funny + handsome kid! and this morning i found another swap to join from life at 123 house. this one is 10 items or less of your favorite things. and it can be anything from lip gloss to a favorite book to food items etc... you need a blog to join in so go and start a blog + then sign up! it will be a lot of fun for very little $.

  1. cute pictures... for someone who said they didn't do very much, you sound busy to me. that party sounds great! i'll have to check them out in my area. & i love that you're little girl was riding her bike even in the rain, what a sign of dedication!
