1. i know i'm nuts. or at least a little coo-koo.

2. while getting ready for my road trip yesterday i came down with a case of mother's guilt. i did not make a single meal all weekend!

3. my poor hammie was probably starving to death! [yep, that's how my brain works]

4. so my retail therapy had to make do with the mall in ft. wayne.

5. before leaving we all got a peppermint hot chocolate with soy milk. whip cream of course!

6. kaylee was so excited that she got her own star bucks drink and repeated over and over how good it was.

7. got two things at the h+m store and that was it. kaylee + mike did ride the merry go round that's there.

8. came home and made dinner. did laundry too.

9. mike is out with the big boss. still no word on what's going to happen to us.

10. started reading the twilight series again. great books!

2. i have the whole house to myself at the moment. kaylee is sleeping and both of my boys are out tonight. [stressful!]

3. today was not a good day for me. i really hate winter. i hate having no friends. i hate that there is nothing to do around here and if there is, i don't know about it.

4. i feel if i'm going to be unhappy and miserable, i should be in hawaii being unhappy and miserable.

5. didn't make it to indy. mike didn't really want to go yet he didn't want to stay home.

6. i'm going to indy tomorrow. if they want to join me, they can.

7. we ate a late lunch at olive garden. came back and took a nap.

8. mike cleaned the house up some while i was taking my nap.

9. kaylee + i watched 500 days of summer.

10. i made super-crunchy "fried" chicken and ree's potato wedges the other night for dinner. i did not get a single complaint from hamilton so that means it must of been good!

1. i'm fighting a serious urge to go down to indy to go shopping tomorrow.

2. i want to hit h+m for some clothes, pottery barn for a letter holder bin thingy + trader joes for some more popcorn + soy sauce.

3. we will probably stay home and clean the house instead because it just feels dirty.

4. what we really need is some nice weather and warm sunshine so we can open up some windows!

5. got kaylee's new backpack and lunchbox today. she went around wearing them and chanting "who has the best mommy, daddy and "brudder" in the world?"

6. then she would say "ME! i love you mommy."

7. had another 2 hour delay from school. so this week the kids had monday off, tuesday was a regular day and for the rest of the week- 2 hour delays.

8. we've been so SPOILED!

9. i've been reading blogs again and have decided that i really find it annoying when they link the whole post so i've decided not to do that too much. a link now and then is ok but the whole post?!

10. glad to report the rover will not be costing us an arm and leg. it lost some gasket, nuts + bolts thingy- blah blah blah. they need to order another gasket so it goes back sometime next week. just so happy i don't look like some asian redneck in a monster truck anymore.

1. when i went down to indy for my weekend away eons ago, i bought two candles from anthropologie. they smelled heavenly!

2. i didn't want to throw away the jars so i recycled them into plant holders.

3. 2 days off, 1 day with a 2 hour delay = me being super lazy sending kaylee to school in sweat pants and a t-shirt. [i know! L.A.Z.Y!]

4. in my defense, they were old navy fleece pants. [super comfy + super warm]

5. i got my first paycheck today. woo-hoo! [its burning a bad hole in my pocket]

6. but i'm going try and be good and put it in the bank. [chanting: ham is going to college, ham is going to college]

7. i'm in LOVE with this camera {they sold out of the old model] and this jacket via pinterest.

8. pinterest has made me neglect my daily blog reads. and laundry. and dishes. and kaylee getting a "baaf".

9. next week mike's boss is suppose to come to town- from canada. hopefully we will find out where we're going + when.

10. my big green baby [rover] sounds like it has a motorcycle jammed down its throat. it goes into the shop friday. fingers crossed it makes it back alive!

1. we totally took advantage of presidents day and slept in till 9AM! and stayed in our pj's till noon.

2. kaylee ended up doing my hair, nails, make-up and tattoo before meeting up with the robinson's to go bowling.

3. they kicked our butts! but no one was keeping score- right? right???

4. afterwards we snacked on nachos with cheese and french fries.

5. it was great getting these two bff's together again.

6. ham's car slide down the driveway and into the yard yesterday. [we are all ready for spring!]

7. so glad i told ham that if he goes on spring break, it will be on his dime.

8. he's reconsidering because its starting to cost too much. hee hee!

9. now that we have lived in this house for 2 years, i'm starting to like it. even with the imperfections.

10. and in typical "us" fashion, we will move because i'm starting to get settled in which is making me nervous. i want to move. i don't want to move.

1. when playing alone, this girl has imagination! she's made menu's, price tags, customer information forms, letters, face masks, you name it!

2. but when a friend comes over, she doesn't know what to do. [i think a lot of times her friend says no to her suggestions so she quits suggesting]

3. boy did the weather change on us. today its cold, snowy + icy!

4. perfect day for ice cream for dinner! [kaylee ate a sandwich and some other "healthy" stuff later]

5. met up with mike's parents for lunch and to pick up the little nugget.

6. she had a great time at the aquarium and wrote down everything she saw while watching the dolphin show.

7. had a great time celebrating with my bitches last night eating hacienda + dancing! [yes, that is what i call my going out girlfriends and we all think its funny]

8. is it weird that i have different set of friends? i have a mom's group and a going out group]

9. i have yet to clean kaylee's bedroom. instead of all of her stuff being all over the floor, i have it in the middle of her room in one big pile.

10. after seeing kaylee's mess it has gotten me in that i want to declutter mode. why do we have over 5 tote bags each or double of this or that? WHY???

mama/little nugget time

1. little nugget had a doctors appointment this morning. nothing serious, just checking up on her continuous "stomach cakes"

2. we're going to try some fiber mix in with her water to see if that helps.

3. so i took her to shipshewana afterwards to help with her fiber problem and fed her pretzels with cheese + nutella.

4. we did walk the stairs up to the third floor so she could go on the merry go round.

5. and i bought some of my go to everyday wearing body lotion and perfume. its pretty light in scent and i can't find it at a mall. win-win!

6. even though we bailed on the indy night, mike's parents are still taking kaylee.

7. they are going to ride the north shore train and go to the shedd aquarium.

8. being the rad daughter in law that i am, i got them buy 1 get 1 free tickets. [its on their website]

9. mike + i are going to hacienda to surprise a friend for her 40th birthday. [she still thinks we are going to indy]

10. afterwards we are all going someplace to bust a move! [hopefully not a hip!]

1. mike was getting gas while kaylee was "driving". i've been wondering what's up with my iphone being all blurry while others take clear photos.

2. while waiting for the allergist i was looking/cleaning my iphone when i saw that i still had the back film on it! [only an hour wait!]

3. duh! that's why my photos look like the first one![see? blonde asian]

4. the marketing director and a head honcho from indy came up to check up on us at the pizza joint.

5. they can come up anytime! they only had positive things to say to me and they noticed our catering has gone up since i've joined the team. [yeah me!]

6. and they're putting more responsibilities on me too which i'm not sure i quite like or want. this was suppose to be part time people!

7. though i did fail today. was suppose to have a meeting with a rep so we can get involved with them for an event. she didn't show up so i'm not sure if i got the date wrong or what. [hopefully it was something on her end but nothing serious]

8. no school tomorrow or monday because its PRESIDENTS DAY! we love presidents day.

9. ham tried to get today off too but i told him his grades suck so he has to go to school.

10. he didn't complain nor did he fight me on it. see? he can be a good kid!

1. ham was in a great mood monday. must of been all the love in the air. probably not.

2. see his gorgeous smile? totally worth the $3500 orthodontic bill. before freaking out too much, most insurances cover $1500 of it.

3. is it wrong that i don't correct kayleeisms? its just so cute!

4. we had pizza from a local yummy pizza joint for our valentine's day dinner. [not papa johns or pizza hut]

5. no candy for the kids instead ham got beef jerky + cash while kaylee got a new book + earrings.

6. her teacher and the assistant said "kaylee is the best reader in the class".

7. i decided not to buy anything from tiffany's. i came to my senses though thanks chantale for the encouragement!!

8. i had an aha moment yesterday. i am not being the nice person i am aiming to be so mike is no longer in the doghouse and "russ" is, well he will have to earn my trust.

9. guess there really could be a move for us. someone from mike's HR department asked him what his preference was. ie: are we willing to move out of the country? yes! that is one of the questions! YIKES!!

10. i posted this on my facebook but ham and his buddies were planning their spring break. the sparrow is slowly leaving the nest. this mama bird is not happy.

sunday happenings

1. kaylee + i made valentine's donuts today.

2. then i had her + mike make dinner. [the pioneer woman's chicken parmigiana]

3. i would love to say it was delicious but i can't.

4. not because i'm being mean but my allergies are at it again and i can't smell nor taste anything!

5. though i am still being mean to mike. see #10 on this post.

6. and yes, my fat parts are still burned from my 8 minutes of being in a human cooker. see # 3 from the above link. [it was so bad i couldn't wear jeans yesterday]

7. i canceled our saturday night in indy for upcoming weekend. decided we really didn't need to spend the money since we're going for the whole weekend in may.

8. ever since i saw sex in the city movie, i've been addicted to the tv. show.

9. no special plans for valentine's day except for me going in to help kaylee's class with her party. [got her earrings and ham will get some cash]

10. fighting the urge to order something from tiffany's like this necklace or this one. [both very simple and not that expensive. don't know where the urge is coming from!]

lesson #1: fat burns

1. totally wishing i was there right now! [thats my family building a sandcastle]

2. been busy working. just waiting for some good news that some of my contacts ordered some pizzas.

3. after helping with kaylee's class today i went tanning. since i hadn't been i only went for 8 minutes.

4. i'm as red as a lobster!

5. i had a hard time figuring out why i turned so red then it hits me- FAT BURNS!

6. i've been doing really good watching what i eat this week but i ended up gaining a pound!

7. since parent/teacher conferences were canceled due to the weather, kaylee's teacher sent out letters on how our kids are doing.

8. she said that kaylee still complains of stomaches and wondered if it was due to her being stressed in having everything be right or perfect.

9. she also got another letter stating that she might be able to join kinda like an "honors" or a "gifted and talented" program.

10. mike is in the dog house and he might be for a long while- like meaning till we move. [if we move] he did something that isn't a big deal to normal people but it really sucks for me.

3. we had another school delay today and another one tomorrow because its so freak'n freezing over here.

4. i was all backwards today and have a gut feeling that all the people i came in contact with today is saying to their families " i met a BLONDE asian today."

5. i bought these awesome shoes after seeing them on what not to wear.

6. totally bummed that they're too big for me and no one has them in my size anymore. [mike didn't like them but i LOVED them!]

7. kaylee said "but this girl needs kleenexes" the other day while we were waiting for the bus. the way she said it was super funny.

8. and she told me that she hogs the bed to keep me + mike warm.

9. and i'm not sure if i had posted this but back in november mike told her she needed to take a bath and she asked "why, is it picture day?" like thats the only time she gets a bath.

10. remember when i won a $100 gc for kayce hughes/pears and bears? well i finally broke down and got kaylee this dress. its adorable!

1. i tell you that girl has her daddy wrapped around her finger!

2. the weekend was good. friday night we didn't do anything. saturday kaylee went over to nana's house. that evening we went and celebrated my parents restaurant being opened for 15 years.

3. then mike + i went and got our groove on. [get your mind out of the gutters- we went dancing!]

4. we got home around 1:45AM- i know, we partied like rock stars! mike suggested we wait for ham in his room. i suggested we hide under the covers and scare him.

5. it totally worked and i'm laughing as i type this! you should of seen his face!! [bwaahahahaha] classic, what every parent lives for moment.

6. i did go shopping on sunday. got a 2 things for me and lots of things for kaylee.

7. everything was on sale + another 20% off + i got $25 in rewards bucks to use later which is great because i want to get her this dress. [LOVE the color!]

8. i put a spending limit on me so once that was reached i went home. plus kaylee had called me asking me when i was going to be home.

9. mike had his super bowl party which i arrived just in time for- yeah, whoopee!

10. it was great not having to clean or prepare or fix anything and still be able to eat.

6. i've been wondering if blow drying, flat ironing or curling kaylee's hair is a bit much. i hate to think i'm ruining her hair. [i rarely blow dry mine]

7. one night last week i spent a lot of time working on this blog- trying to change the font, getting a header but it failed on me. boo- hoo!

8. tomorrow night there's going to be a little party for the south bend bdubs. its the stores 15 year anniversary. wow! 15 years!

9. i remember the first day we opened. we had a line out the door and around the corner. just as we were starting the ceiling by the front window in the bar area started flooding! i mean it was a waterfall gushing down!

1. she has tons more that i didn't know about and they're extremely funny.

2. school has been canceled for tomorrow- woohoo! the only downside is that its snowing, freezing and very windy out there!

3. went to a special edition of book club last night. it was bring your favorite kids book. of course i only bring 2 while everyone else brought about 10.

4. our hostest with the mostest had a delish tray of cheeses, crackers and veggies which got me thinking- why don't i make a relish tray for me to nibble on during the week??

5. she also made these delicious brownies which i had to go out and buy today.

6. kaylee and i will make them tomorrow along with her valentine's for school. [something to keep her busy]

7. i feel like doing a swap. wish somebody was doing one.

8. remember when i had my wide lens sent out and fixed? well now i'm bummed that its not fixed and i don't think it ever was.

9. one of these days i will have to get outside and take a photo of all the deer tracks in the snow. it looks like a quilt- so pretty! {the other night we saw 3 or 4 of them going into the woods next to the neighbors house]
