i'm always telling mike i need a vacation so this hat would of been perfect except for the price tag. even on sale. *sigh* that kate spade.

a little of this and a little of that

1. this was my christmas day after all the presents were opened.

2. since i made way too many finger foods, i didn't have to cook super. we had our filet mignon, garlic mashed potatoes and homemade bread the next night.

3. we started a texas tradition and had the kids open gifts from other family members on christmas eve.

4. best idea ever! kaylee played with her new toys for 3-4 hours BY HERSELF!

5. which allowed me to wrap last minute gifts and tag all of them.

6. been getting tons done around the house. [mike is making use of his days off for once]

7. monday we drove down to the galleria and did some looking around. it was mostly to get out of the house. it took us 40-50 minutes to get out of the parking garage.

8. glad that was on the way out and not on the way in. mike would of been ticked the whole time shopping which means no fun for me!

9. think christmas in houston was a big hit. 3 out of 4 of us don't mind that there's no snow.

10. no big plans for new year's this year.

catching up

1. i had everyone draw their own portraits to make ornaments for my mom.

2. i got the idea from here but decided to keep it simple in black and white.

3. kaylee painted the rims and i glue gunned ribbon around on the outsides.

4. mike and i had a great time at the ladybug's christmas party saturday night.

5. even though we were the youngest, me by at least 5 years and mike by ten.

6. i took a christmas floral arrangement for the host and wonder why i don't spend the money and get one for myself. its something that i have always loved around the holidays.

7. i also love the gift sets of food. the nuts, crackers, cheeses and meats, the varieties of desserts but yet too cheap to buy them for myself (family).

8. or maybe its because i have high hopes that the husband will buy them for me instead.

9. kaylee and i made these super easy cookie truffles yesterday.

10. and a neighbor dropped off cake balls made into ornaments for us.

1. kaylee had a great birthday even though she didn't have a party with friends.

2. her nana + pooppoop- as she likes to call them, sent her a $100 gc to american girl doll. i told them she likes to pretend shop so this way she can do it for realz.

3. we got her a pink sparkly cowgirl shirt, barbie that rides a bike, vera bradley purse and a charm bracelet with a charm.

4. my parents sent her a text gc to target and the rest of my family forgot.

5. she picked dinner at pf changs which surprised me. she usually picks olive garden.

6. kaylee took treat bags for her class. i forgot to take a photo of them. [they had glow in the dark sunglasses, m+m's, goldfish crackers, a pencil and a candy cane. so much for keeping it simple]

7. i got all christmas presents wrapped and ready to ship out to indiana for our families. hope they get there in time.

8. monday i went with the ladybugs and judged christmas lights around our neighborhood. my neighbor did not win in our area. [we have 3 different areas so there are 3 different winners]

9. tomorrow night one of the ladybug ladies is hosting a christmas party. mike and i are actually going. we desperately need conversation with other people!

10. ham "accidentally" dropped his iphone while cleaning the pool the other day. to keep him from bugging me, we went and got him the newest version yesterday. he was eligible for an upgrade. [this is an early christmas present]

1. not sure why but after having a fake tree for the past 3 or so years has made me miss a real tree.

2. which is good because i think this might our last year, the fake tree is ready to quit on us.

4. my love for pinterest continues. last week i made this and this for dinner.

5. this is going to be the first year kaylee is not having a birthday party with friends.

6. not because she doesn't have any because she does but we thought we should get to know them better.

7. we will go out to dinner of her choosing- olive garden and spoil her with hugs, kisses and gifts.

8. of course she will have treat bags for her classmates and i'm going to try and make them simple this year.

9. i've been listening to christmas music on pandora. michael buble and harry connick jr have the dreamy-est voices. [i loved harry since my jr. high/high school days]

10. it also feels weird not having any snow and that its going to be 75 degrees on wednesday.

only in texas

1. mike and i along with kaylee because she has to be in every photo.

2. yup. i'm wearing a dress. and. its one shoulder- oh lala.

3. we forced ham to babysit his sister in the hotel room where the party was held.

4. if he would of been one of my brother's, he would of complained, threw a fit and demanded that he was not going. but he didn't. he did complain. and he did threaten to jump out of the hotel window.

5. we could of let them both stay home but wasn't sure how little fleanut would of been once it got to be bedtime. sad, i know.

6. but we got to eat some awesome food, drink lots of drinks, got to see a band, watch co-workers think they could sing and dance, got to gamble and/or play video games.

7. sunday, kaylee and i checked out a local church. i got to witness a pastor give another pastor a stuffed armadillo and a shot gun. you should of heard the ooo's and ahhhh's and the "oh what a beautiful gun!" coming from the audience. only in texas baby.

8. its really starting to cool down now. today high of 47. and we just figured out how to turn on the furnace last night. yeah, so in the mornings its been freezing.

9. wondering if i'm the only one with a husband who doesn't listen.

10. though he has told me i don't speak loud enough. wondering if that's the truth or if he was just saying that...

missing booah and loving shopping

1. i miss booah and still "talk" to him every day. he's been a good kitty producing red hibiscus lately.

2. as much as i said i didn't like him, i really did. there were times when we would both lay on the floor and just look at each while while holding hand to paw.

3. and who else would let me "torture" them in this type of fashion?

4. if i haven't already posted but we're guessing he died from the stress of moving. [they say moving stresses cat's out] he got a clean bill of health the week before coming to texas.

5. he was pretty much alone for a month while we were in Texas and Mike was traveling for his work. then the long car ride down followed by a big mass of water in the backyard and new house. *sigh* love you booah!

6. today was a good shopping day. got mike a new outfit for his work's Christmas party on friday. got me one too.

7. got kaylee her birthday gift. [decided to save the boots for christmas] and ham a gift i didn't have to order on-line.

8. even went to pf changs for lunch.

9. tomorrow i get to do it again. mike's new outfit doesn't fit and i need to shop for the other people in my family.

10. i love this time of year! btw- no snow for us. sunny today high of 63-ish.

just some monday ramblings

at our hotel restaurant when we went to visit UT

1. okay-wow! what a semi great 9 days of having mike and kaylee home. [semi great because the house is a complete mess!]

2. thanksgiving turned out great - made way too much food for 4 people. [deviled eggs, bacon wrapped weiners and swedish meatballs for starters. turkey, mashed potatoes, mac-n-cheese, corn casserole, hawaiian rolls and stuffing plus striped delight for dessert]

3. i went shopping! on friday but not really for black friday- just to get out of the house by myself type thing.

4. though i scored 50% off the sale price at anthropolgie and got myself 3 blouses. [i also had recently splurged and bought 3 blouses from emersonmade]

5. went and got kaylee a cowGIRL shirt and boots she wanted for her birthday.

6. she said ALL the girls in her class has a pair.

7. also got the christmas tree up and house decorated but the house looks empty. [only have enough stuff for 1-2 rooms]

8. i have until sometime in january to clean up my craft room. my parents are planning on taking a cruise leaving from galveston.

9. we've been invited to go on a cruise in march for kaylee's spring break with my sister and with mike's folks to florida. we really shouldn't do either with us just buying our house and cars etc...

10. okay, i have procrastinated enough. time for me to play maid and clean the house.

a good week so far

1. my family in their A+M gear. [i didn't realize fleanut and ham were making the same face till much later]

2. we all LOVED A+M so all fingers and toes crossed ham gets accepted.

3. it just had that campus vibe and close community that i wanted ham to experience. plus, it was much easier to get around and safer.

4. ham asked kaylee which school she wanted him to go to. she asked which was closer to home. he said A+M. she said definitely A+M. she loves her brother. [smart girl too]

5. it hasn't been too bad having both kaylee and mike off school/work this week. we're actually getting a few things done around the house. just need to keep mike focused.

6. it also got proven who kaylee takes after. mike's upstairs area and the family where kaylee hangs out at the most look identical. down to the dirty plates, cups, trash and clothes.

7. my crafting room is getting organized though at the moment it looks like it puked.

8. don't know what to make for thanksgiving dinner since we're not huge turkey fans.

9. went to ikea and pf changs this week.

10. my sister called me bragging that she was eating a krispy kreme donut. i hope those donuts stay on her hips for awhile.

this week

1. kaylee's been drawing tons of princesses and castles. she's been missing her friends and cousins.

2. she had her thanksgiving feast at school and when i asked her how her feast was, she said "it wasn't much of a feast."

3. been pretty busy this week. got my haircut, parent's meeting for daisy troops [girl scouts], lady bug garden club meeting and an eye appointment.

4. at dinner kaylee said kids ask her what snow is like. as much as i don't like being cold or months and months and months and months of snow, it made me sad to know that kids don't get to experience it.

5. pray for me- kaylee and mike both have the next 9 days off!

6. i'm going to get this for my parents for christmas.

7. and these for ham since he wants a pair.

8. oh and ham has lost his south park uno champion title. i've won two straight nights in a row. the first night, i ended up with 11 points! 11 points is awesome!

9. sucks i have no one to go see breaking dawn with me.

10. or to go on a 40th birthday adventure. [my trip might be canceled. even though mike says to do whatever i want, i feel guilty and don't want him to worry but he will worry]

1. kaylee tried to be in every picture i took while in austin. goofy girl.

2. i'm very happy ham decided to move with us even if it means he's a year behind in college.

3. its been awesome just to have him home during this new time in our lives.

4. and that he's giving kaylee some memories of what its like having an older brother.

5. its also given him time to think about what he wants to study. aerospace engineering, engineering technology and geoscience are floating around.

6. its been offered that he go and live with his bachelor- uncle up in chicago and work for him for a month or so.

7. no better person to show ham that studying and working hard pays off because bachelor-uncle knows how to play hard too.

8. application deadline is december 1st. ham's got two essays to write. poor kid.

9. he's also going to apply to texas a+m. mike and ham got invited to see a football game there saturday. kaylee + i will hang around till the games over. then all of us will tour the campus.

10. i think ham will like a+m better because it will have that campus feel like purdue.

1. we had a great time touring UT. mike didn't realize it was such a big city. 15th in the US.

2. it was neat to see the state capital right in the middle of campus.

3. ham thought it was weird that we didn't see tons of college students like when we toured purdue. [maybe they went home for the weekend?]

4. i also didn't get to meet jane porter. if my family wasn't with me, i would of stalked her.

5. ham told me to quit taking photos of him so i kept taking random ones without looking.

6. we went and saw barton springs pool. we also got to see a man do a handstand in a speedo. [sorry, no photos ladies]

7. found out deadline for applications is dec. 1st. ham is going to apply to UT and A+M.

8. the rest of the weekend we didn't do much. [we returned saturday. the drive was like going down to indy]

9. we did eat outside at our now favorite restaurant on sunday. the weather was perfect!

10. i even went hot tubing that evening. the first for me since we've been here.

busy day today

1. mike surprised kaylee with a red rose last night. then he surprised me with these.

2. the smell of fresh flowers throughout the house is awesome.

3. i tried taking pictures of the car last night but by 5:30-6pm, it was too dark.

4. i have my lady bug's garden club workshop today. [i thought it was yesterday so of course i did nothing but clean a few bathrooms leaving all errand running for today]

5. then we're leaving for a few days to visit University of Texas to see what needs to be done to enroll ham for next august.

6. one of my favorite authors, jane porter, will also be at U of T with one of her son's on Friday. i hope to see her from a distance...you know, no social skills here.

7. we tried a new pizza place but it still didn't even come close to colombo's or antionio's or even hotbox pizza from back home.

8. i started to empty some boxes in my "office/crafting" room. still have tons of junk i need to get rid of and/or find a place for it.

9. the worst part about moving is finding new doctors and hair salons. [my gray hairs are showing themselves!]

10. still loving that kaylee and her friends from indiana are still writing and drawing pictures to each other.

1. sunday i told mike we should at least go and look to see what the land rover dealership had for used cars. they didn't have much in our price range except a bmw 330ci. the exact same car as ham's smooshed one but a little younger.

2. when we got home i looked into it and it said it was a manual. i don't want to drive a manual.

3. yesterday and today were a little boring for me since i don't have a car. in reality its probably a good thing.

4. i did go and surprise kaylee at lunch on monday. we live SO close to her school but not too close to where it feels weird.

5. we played south park uno last night. ham won 3 straight games in a row. then i won the last two.

6. i think i'm close to being done shopping for kaylee's christmas presents. [she's not getting as much this year because of her new bunk beds which i still need to post a photo of]

7. nana and poppop are moving. not to houston though. into nana's mama's old house. [mike's folks]

8. our girl scout leader sucks and she got asked to step down. she never followed through and we haven't met any of the other girls. i asked for a refund.

9. we went to the land rover dealership to test drive the bmw. then we brought it home.

10. its a semi manual? meaning we shift it into gear but there's no clutch. [i can drive that!] ham took it for a spin then told us that if put it in drive, it will drive like an automatic and shift itself. he's so smart!

scary weekend

1. on his way home from work on friday, mike got into a car accident. a lady pulled out in front of him. he was on the freeway going 60-65 miles.

2. it was a rough 3 hours before i got to see him. he didn't know any of our new phone numbers so he called his mom.

3. he said the car flipped over twice and he was upside down till the car hit the cement divider wall.

4. he walked away with only a few bruises and scrapes. some one was definitely looking after him that day!

5. the other sad part is that we just payed off the car on monday so we could get mike a car. [we only want 1 car payment]

6. so this weekend we went car looking.

7. mike wants a jeep and ham has to wait till the insurance check comes.

8. mike said the lady that pulled out in front of him never apologized kinda making it seem like it wasn't her fault.

9. but there were at least 3 people who were nice enough to stop and ask mike if he was okay and that they would witness the whole thing if we needed them too.

10. its nice to know that there are people out there who still care.

our first halloween in texas

1. i didn't get very many photos of kaylee on halloween. it was because of operator error like usual.

2. we had invited a friend to come over to trick or treat but they said they were just going to stay in their neighborhood. and our neighbors had ballet.

3. so we were a little bummed that we had to go by ourselves.

4. till it got dark. our friend came over and our neighbor skipped ballet!

5. kaylee got enough candy to fill my trick or treat bowl for me to pass out next year!

6. afterwards, our neighbors invited us over for some birthday cake.

7. i looked around and not a single white person was there. it was odd and yet cool at the same time. [vietnamese, hong kong and me]

8. mike was out of town again. so ham passed out candy. he gave everyone handfuls. my bowls were empty.

9. i didn't do a single thing yesterday because i was in a junk food, chicago style popcorn mix, chocolate gummy bear induced coma.

10. i felt so sick that i forced myself to walk this morning. [its been a whole week]

whew!

at Houston Zoo for Zoo Boo

1. my sister and her family ended up catching a later flight so they didn't get in till about 10ish thursday. [my sister is an airline person and they get free tickets if they go stand-by]

2. friday we all went and ate lunch with kaylee at school. [except for mike, he went into work on his day off]

3. then we all waited for kaylee to come home so we could see Puss and Boots at the movie tavern.

4. what's a movie tavern you ask? well its where you get to sit and watch a movie and order food and drinks while watching a movie. it was AWESOME!

5. then we came home and i made dinner then we all played south park uno and lcr. [i won $30 from lcr]

5. saturday we went to the Houston Zoo and it ended up being Zoo Boo day. the girls dressed up and got to do a scavenger hunt and get candy. at the end of the scavenger hunt, they got a spider ring and kaylee says" thats it. thats all we get for doing all that?!" it was quite funny.

6. we ate lunch at a mexican place near the galleria came home and the crazy people went swimming till they saw that the hot tub was warmer.

7. i made homemade pizza for dinner and the games continued. sad to say that the guys now hold the catch phase weiner title.

8. sunday mike and ron went to a texans game so us girls went to the mall to look around then came back home and went swimming while waiting for the guys to return.

9. went out to eat for dinner then came back home to go to bed. everyone had a very tiring day! [except for ham]

10. my sister and her crew left for indiana this morning.

texas is still awesome

1. not to brag but the weather has been awesome especially in the evenings. kaylee and i took a walk around the 'hood last night.

2. and the other day mike and i both said how awesome it is to be wearing shorts and its almost november.

3. met up with another hoosier the other night for dinner. boy was that nice to be able to talk to someone other than my family since they never listen to me anyway.

4. poor fleanut, she was up half the night coughing.

5. her bunk beds are being delivered today. [having buyers remorse on all the furniture. we all know that she won't sleep in her bed even though she says she will.]

6. i did a drawing yesterday and it felt good.

7. while doing the dishes the thought of why did i ever stop doing what i love crossed my mind.

8. then it went back to having a kid, no money and then the fear of doing things out of my comfort zone.

9. fleanut has mentioned a few times she wants to go back to "senior point" so we're thinking of making a day or two of it if we go back to indiana over the summer.

10. okay, need to get the house ready for my crazy sister and her family. they're coming down thursday and staying the weekend. [wish me luck!]

1. i'm going to make kaylee an "advice" book for when she gets older. it will also include this poem that i've posted about before.

2. today was a busy day. i got duped into thinking that we had to have a mandatory water testing so that sales guy came today. [the lady kept calling and calling]

3. then we went to kaylee's favorite place per her request. she ended up eating one breadstick. i think she's breadstick out.

4. then we went to rooms to go and bought kaylee a super cool bunk-bed, mike a miami dolphins rug, ham a chair where he can listen and play his video games [for christmas] and me a seatee for the entry way. [don't i sound fancy?]

5. then we went and looked for a used car. found a 2010 jeep for a super good price. mike needs to crunch the numbers. i say we get a cheaper car but this one is a super good deal...only 6000 miles and its a 2010.

6. then came back home to order pizza and played south park uno.

7. i got sad and pouted in between getting the pizza and playing south park uno. i got a text from one of my bitches that they are not going to be able to go on my big birthday girls trip.

8. while pouting, i decided i didn't want my kids to remember me as a pouting and sulking mom but a mom who does stuff so i decided i'm going to do something BIG.

9. so i found rei offers adventure trips so i'm going to do one of them. maybe hiking in the nevedas or the hawaii trip. still need to work out the details.

10. this was the kind of trip i wanted to do in the first place. sitting on the beach is fun but this sounds much better.

1. that they keep breaking my heart.

2. that they keep growing.

3. that its been 2 years already that ham's had his drivers license.

4. that he's 18 and can drive around at 8:00 at night when he should be home where its safe.

5. that he can get on the internet and shop for his own clothes.

6. that her interests are no longer on the simple 2 or 3 year old things but 6 almost 7 year old stuff.

7. that she no longer needs to know because she already knows it all.

8. that she's lost all her baby fat. her chubby cheeks and cankles.

9. that she's past half my height.

10. i do love how they pick on each other almost everyday even if it is out of boredom on ham's part.

still getting use to texas

1. once again, sorry for the crappy, small photo. thought it was going to be larger.

2. on the way home from the beach last friday some old lady cut right in front of mike so i laid on the horn.

3. we didn't see it but mike's parents said she flipped him off.

4. so in true mike fashion, as he drove by the old lady, he took down his swim suit and started to spank his butt while yelling "take some of that!"

5. i got his underpants and started waving them around. his parents were in shock that he got his underpants off that quickly. [mike had set his shorts and clean underpants on the console between us]

6. we all laughed at that one.

7. today kaylee got a little cut on her toe somehow and then, right before bed, she got an ice cube stuck to the side of her mouth which caused it bleed too. [she hates the sight of her own blood]

8. the weather has dropped and i now understand why texans get out their winter coats. after months of no rain and temps over 100 degrees, this is freezing weather! [we're in the mid 70's this week & sunny!]

9. hard to believe since i'm some what of a romantic but growing up i never saw myself getting married or having kids. weird how life turns out.

10. i'm still trying to plan my big birthday bash but my friends are starting to ditch me one by one. [the ones who agreed to go with me on my girls trip]

2. before the in-laws got here, mike was hell bent on getting that play set down. [like his parents were going to hang out back there or something]

3. and while they were here, he and his dad moved the pavers. we're going to level the area and put them back down. [photo 3.] where the tree is, we are going to do some landscaping.

4. we planted a red hibiscus over booah. i now talk to the plant and call it booah.

5. we are on to the next repairs. the pool and pool cleaner kaylee named robo. hopefully this is it on repairs for a long while!

6. on the last day that mike's folks were here, we let kaylee skip school and went to galveston to check out the beach. without realizing it- we got our tans on!

7. then we ate dinner at the cheesecake factory.

8. someone from discover card just called me and asked why i haven't used their card in awhile. i told them they raised my interest rate for no good reason so i went and got a card with 0% interest for 18 months and that they need to reevaluate their customer service and loyalty.

9. speaking of customer service, i went shopping last night and didn't buy a thing from stores that ignored me. it ended up being 4 out of 6 stores. at least acknowledge that i'm in your store.

10. the weather has cooled down quite a bit. today its only going to get a high of 75.

1. sunday it down poured some much needed rain.

2. even though it was raining, kaylee still wanted to go swimming.

3. i said as long as its not thunder or lightening- go for it! so they did!

4. kaylee thought it was SO AWESOME!

5. poppop couldn't understand why they were swimming in the rain till i told him these are memories kaylee will remember.

6. wednesday, nana and i surprised kaylee at lunch.

7. mike and his dad went to lunch today. [kaylee said she was a little disappointed that i wasn't there which made me smile]

8. tomorrow, we're having her skip school so we all can go down to galveston to hangout.

9. we ate a yummy dinner at a place called bj's brewhouse and restaurant. and then had dessert at tutti fruiti's.

10. on the way home poppop said "hani roar-e's" and "egg wolk sauce" like he normally would but to us it sounded asian so we all busted out laughing.

the in-laws visiting

1. the in-laws were impressed, still is, with the house.

2. my father-in-law says we could easily fit 16 families in here. not sure how he came up with that number considering we have 5 bedrooms and 3.5 bedrooms

3. we went down to the galleria saturday evening and ate dinner at a mexican place.

4. then walked a bit around the mall. kaylee got a build a bear after she gave poppop a hug.

5. i only got to go inside dylan's candy bar for a moment because i was with mike and his dad. i'm going to make mike take me back down there so i can buy some candy!

6. it sprinkled a little saturday night so we came back and played a few rounds of south park uno.

7. sunday it poured and got to be around 65 degree's so we headed up to the woodlands to check out the mall and eat at pf. changs. we got cheesecake from the cheesecake factory for dessert.

8. the cute, blonde hostess was at pf changs again so i tried to get ham to ask her out on a date. he wouldn't do it. [because we were with him]

9. walking back to our car i made fun of ham because he was walking like a duck. he was trying not to get his socks wet- he was wearing his flippy flops.

10. we played more south park uno before going to bed.

not much going on

1. this little dude likes to hang out on my bathroom window-outside. [i think its him every night]

2. i love how tiny his little hands/fingers are. they look like flowers.

3. mike and kaylee went to pickup the in-laws. kaylee wants to leave poppop at the airport.

4. mike got the old playset taken down and our backyard looks so much bigger. i'll have some photos soon.

5. the other day i saw a snake getting ready to come out of its hole but he went back in as we were walking by. YUCK! gave me the heebeegeebee's!

6. that same day i saw two very large black birds eating the remains of an armadillo. [my 3rd armadillo laying on the side of the street since we moved here]

7. i've had to tone down on the walking some this week. hated that every time i moved, i moved like an 80 year old because i'm in pain.

8. i found mike's favorite beer at world market, one of my favorite stores now.

9. kaylee's been crying and/or being super sensitive these past couple of days. i hope its just a phase she's going through.

10. and ham is still the same. BORED.

1. since our first day here [august 25, 2011] these past 2 days are the only days kaylee has not gone swimming.

2. the temps have cooled down some- high 80's but the water feels cold.

3. she has been riding her bike. with just 2 wheels, i might add.

4. we've been playing south park uno too. we take turns dead kennying each other. [me, mike and ham]

5. today i got to spend 45 minutes on the phone with ADT. i also got to speak to 5 different people because they couldn't find my account to waive that $600 termination fee.

6. then i got told that if i wrote a check to myself from my indiana account to my texas account, i would have to wait 11 days before it cleared. i got bills to pay people!

7. but then the bank was nice enough to do a transfer and an immediate deposit.

8. while at the bank, i notice i left my debit and driver's license at home.

9. i still managed to go and shop. i had to return something and that lead one thing to another. [i only bought lipgloss and some smelly stuff for the house]

10. still looking for art for the front entry. debating on one of heather brown's surf art. the price i can afford might be too small for that area. hmmm.... could do a few random 8x10's in the area...

yes, another sky photo

1. i'm hoping no one gets sick of these sky photos because i love them! to see them change in matter of minutes is amazeballs! [channeling my inner giuliana rancic]

2. mike and booah made it home safely saturday afternoon and in 17 hours.

3. it was quite funny to see booah take everything in and walking down the stairs all drugged up. his hind legs would just drag and then he would slip. it was funny in a non-harmful way.

4. so far booah's been good and hasn't "marked" his territory. mike, on the other hand, has.

5. to celebrate their homecoming, kaylee and i made a breakfast buffet sunday morning. mini blueberry waffles, chocolate donuts, cheesy eggs and bacon.

6. oh, i never did make it to my cooking class. wasn't sure if my car was going to be repaired or not. they have some sort of cooking class everyday so i will get my chance.

7. i started walking again. taking a week off has been killer on my legs and feet!

8. the other day i figured out what the worst part of my day is... finding something to wear!

9. my in-laws are coming this saturday and i don't care how the house looks. they're coming to see us oh crap- and the house!

10. i went to get my vehicle title and registration today. i'm officially on my way of becoming a texan.
