i wish i lived in one of those neighborhoods where everyone knows each other. babysitting is shared and there's a block party almost every weekend. the doors are left open and each neighbor is responsible for some type of dish or drink. games are played, kids running around (i saw this in one of my cottage living magazine) just a great, fun environment.
i wish my family was one of those that had a great time whenever we got together. games played and laughter all around. mom doesn't allow drinking but i think it would help loosen everyone up. she said she doesn't want to see her family get drunk. whatever. shes a bar owner- isn't that calling the kettle black? or however that saying goes.
i wish we could move someplace warm and build our dream house. i cant wait to pick out paint colors and new furniture. its going to be soo much fun! i really like the colors that i have in the house right now. the only room that needs to be changed is the upstairs bathroom. that's the only room in the house that hasn't been touched in the 9, almost 10 years that i have lived here.
oh, i got another compliment on my coat. a women from spain said that i looked very hip and european with my coat and fossil bag. i got a new bag on saturday while at the mall for maddies birthday party. its kinda messenger style. i will get a picture of me in the coat and post it- i promise!! maybe.
