weekend life with a teenager

1. my cute little sweaty soccer player after practice on thursday. only 3 other kids showed up being its local fair week + some are on vacation.

2. just made my oldest mac-n-cheese from a box at 10:43pm. the things we do for our kids.

3. ended up doing our garage sale on friday. sold all the big stuff and appliances so we bailed town on saturday.

4. went to my in-laws and took them out to lunch at hacienda. [one out of 4 of their favorite places] went back to their house and took a nap while nana played with kaylee.

5. suppose to go camping but had to bail on the camping part because i do not feel comfortable leaving hamilton home alone over night. [safety issues not partying issues]

6. instead we all went over to a friends cousins brother in laws house to hang out. i LOVE going over there. its all about the fun and nothing else.

7. we ended up leaving by 11:30pm so we could get home at a decent time since its an hour away. then i ended up getting one of those dreaded phone calls that no parent with a teenager wants to get.

8. so all the way home i'm fuming mad and ready to sell hamilton's car, take away his cell phone and make him go everywhere we go.

9. and my car is about out of gas but we made it. lucky for us and for hamilton, he was just a passenger and didn't do anything, at least thats what he claims. [he has not lied to us yet and he's got a clean record on that. i get proof]

10. but since he was with others doing illegal activities they still have to turn it in or something of the sort so now we have to wait to see what happens.
