2. saturday at 8am we had our first soccer game. it was fun and the kids did great!
3. we ended up "winning" even though no scores were kept.
4. kaylee is definitely a princess. she would run with the ball but would not go after it nor would she go and try kicking it.
5. saturday was also my high school reunion but i didn't go. instead, i got to visit with my best friend from high school since she was visiting from arizona.
6. i made a bowl of fruit and a snickers apple salad to share. all the food was yummy!
7. then i got a bad stomachache. the kind that passes out stomachache smells. i tried to be discreet and went to the car so i could put on my glasses since my contacts were bothering me too. went home soon after.
8. sunday we went to the amish acres arts & crafts festival. i told mike its neat how inventive people can be even if its not our style.
9. we did end up with some goodies. kaylee scored a silver ring and a michigan wolverines cheerleader outfit for her doll. we also bought soap, the best tasting mustard [can't wait to make deviled eggs with it. its not too hot at all!] and a mix to add to wine to make it a delicious icy treat. [they had used a chardonnay and it tasted like a frozen pineapple slushy]
10. after grubbing on festival food we came back home and did some house work. mike outside, me inside. [i also got to take a nap]
