1. saturday we stayed home and cleaned the house up a bit. then mike's buddy and daughter came over for a bonfire and pudgie pies.2. yup. we love pudgie pies and s'mores. we love them so much we even stayed while it was raining. we're hardcore like that.
3. lucky for us, the trees umbrelled us so we didn't get soaked.
4. then mike and brent went out and came home really really loudly.
5. our "upscale" neighbors were watching from their balcony. [brent was laying in the middle of the road cursing] see what i have to put up with??
6. i call them upscale because i heard at our hoa meeting that they want people to bring up their trash cans as soon as its dumped and that grass clippings shouldn't be left anywhere in the yard because we live in an upscale neighborhood and they want everyone to chip in $800 up front for something or another for the neighborhood.
7. um hello?! not all of us bought our house at a reduced price. $800 smackers pays for ham's graduation food or something for our hawaii trip or something for us to do to the house or car repairs.
8. sunday we headed up to new buffalo to eat lunch, walk along the beach and ice cream.
9. my allergies are super bad. so bad that i got my hair done at an aveda salon and i couldn't even smell it. and if you ever smelled aveda, its some strong stuff. [though the fumes did make me light headed]
10. ever since i was pregnant with kaylee i have really sweaty armpits. like soak through a shirt like a man sweat. [ok, maybe not that bad but it does bother me!] so today i went and got certain dri. i will report back if it works or not.
You have HOA meetings? Do you live in a gated community or something? Sounds like condo fees there.. And I'm so glad we don't live in a condo anymore! Lucky for us, we can do anything we want with our home (minus major home renos). Unlucky for us, anyone else on the street can do whatever the hell they want too (including leaving their yard looking like crap). Lucky for us we got a new neighbor to our left and he cares about his lawn too! ha. Girl, I hear ya on the allergies! It really is super bad when you can't smell Aveda. That stuff overpowers me. Hope you get something to help you out with that!
