this is my dining room. and this is where i am needing a new light fixture. i've been living with the wires hanging for almost a year now come may. i really love the way the dining room has turned out. it was a room i didn't have to paint either. gotta love that!
its hard to tell but the curtains match perfectly with the room. its got a little bit of the wall, table and mustard yellow colors in it. {in the hutch, i painted the shelves a mustard yellow and then covered the backing with black and white scrapbooking paper.}
anyway, i really love this light fixture from ikea. up close it looks like its made out of paper or some sort of really thin plastic. i love it and i love the price. under 100 bucks.
and i love it too. this one's made out of metal, found on an etsy shop and it's on sale. i think it might be too small for our dining room and i am waiting to hear back from the seller but don't think thats going to happen. she would of emailed me by now i think. i'm thinking of buying it anyway and if its too small for the dining room maybe i will put it in my bathroom.
Your dining room is beautiful. Wow! Love the cabinet, the touches of yellow, and the pattern on the curtains.

Wow! Gorgeous dining room! Real furniture! Real dining room set! Real curtains!! I'm going to show this to the huz and say, 'see?! real people with real furniture! shame on you!!'. We're living with cast-offs. that Ikea fixture is beautiful. But easily bent.
