1. my generic twilight/new moon party invites for friday.2. so far i have 1 friend coming. i'm counting on my co-host and her friends to be here.
3. i hate my town and all its stupid trains that feel like they must sit on the tracks blocking every way to my destinations. but glad that there are still trains running.
4. i have not been sleeping well again. my nose is really acting up. i'm getting my prescriptions today.
5. did get mike a real yummy chocolate cake from a local bakery. shared it with my family at monday night dinner but still have left overs. breakfast???
6. my parents got mike a gift card to hani yori's. stipulation is that ham + my parents be there too.
7. my dad gave me a compliment last night. he said that i turned out to be the best cook in our family. {not sure how much of a compliment that is considering who i'm running against but i will take it. i love my papa!}
8. got lots to do today. going to target to fill my prescriptions, grocery store to try a new recipe tonight and clean the house. mike is wanting to invite one of his workers over for dinner or at least to come and see the house since its been over a year.
9. i have a crafty project i would love to do too today.
10. my good blogging friend from the adventures of skinny mini kiki made it on the dwell studio's blog- how exciting! {i LOVE dwell studio but not their prices}
PS - notice my profile name change ;)
ReplyDeletemy mom would come to your party. she's a TWIHARD and trying to convert me. I'm reading the books, like them but have a harder time with the movies. Although I could stare and Taylor for a while :)
Trains...you'd find if you moved away...you'd miss them. When I'm at my mom's and I hear the train whistles I LOVE it! And when I get stopped I don't mind anymore. But I remember getting frustrated when driving to school, always cutting the time close anyway. Making me tardy.
I see the favorite quote on the sidebar there...one of my favorites too. I have it printed out taped to my desk hutch.
stacy: loving the new profile name change- cute! your mom is invited! and i did move away and never missed the trains...but glad they are running-its part of history + means jobs in this economy.
ReplyDeleteLove the invites! Where's mine?? lol. Your dad's a sweetheart. I knew you had to be a great cook! Big chocolate cake for breakfast? Good thing I don't like cakes.
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling better! Wasn't that dwell thing insane? Caught me off guard but really made my day considering the crap happening around me.
HOpe you had a great day! It was insanely gorgeous today here in the MTL.
