weekend

this was in yesterdays newspaper. (this image was taken from thewashingtonpost.com) kinda nice knowing that i'm not the only one who has felt this way. (many times) i know its my fault. i need to go to bed earlier. this is a known fact. i'm not grumpy when i've gotten a good, solid, uninterrupted 7-8 hours of sleep. school is almost over and i will get to sleep in. even if i don't make it past 8am, its still sleeping in to me. funny how just knowing that i don't have to get up by 6:30am eases my mind.

friday was a pretty boring day and i was going to post about it but didn't want to bore anyone. saturday was a full day. left the house at noon with kaylee in tow to a baby shower for mike's cousin, jessica. while getting ready, i told kaylee that we were going to a girls only party. no boys because they're stinky. the shower was fun with great prizes going out. i won a $10 gc to walmart for being runner up in getting the 2nd most in a word search. kaylee won a candle for her name starting with a k. there were all sorts of party favors for everyone to take home. kaylee started to play with a baby bottle filled with m+m's and she said that her daddy would help her feed her babies because he's not stinky anymore because he took a shower. and yes, the whole room was silent when she said this. we all found it funny and cute. the food was delicious and the cake was to die for. aunt debbie's neighbor made the cake. the first layer was a yellow cake then with a cherry pie filling layer- not overly done, then a chocolate cake layer with a nice layer of frosting on top. i could of used some nuts on the cake to make it that much more perfect. kaylee decided to go home with nana while i went shopping at the outlet mall. i found some tops + swim suit cover from banana republic- tired of looking frumpy and it was all on sale. i also found 2 swimsuits, a sweatshirt and 2 sweaters for kaylee. got home around 8:30pm.

sunday we had an open house so we met up with mike's folks at buffalo wild wings on grape road for some lunch and to discuss what things we wanted to do in hawaii. the open house turned out well. not getting my hopes up but our realtor said that a family seemed interested and they said they would get in touch with their realtor tomorrow (today). we will see. fingers crossed. and yes, st. joseph has been buried.
