cedar point: day 2 {wednesday}

the next morning we headed over to the amusement park first thing in the morning. being hotel stayers, we got to go in an hour before the public. it was still pretty busy even at 9am since they have more hotels now. we passed on the dragster ride and went straight to the millennium force. mike got to ride that one by himself. the rest of us went and got breakfast.

after i took this picture, i see that ham and mike are on it. after they went through the loop, i couldn't catch up with my camera they were going too fast.

ham and i went on the mantis too. i felt a little ill afterwards.

then mike volunteers me to ride on the snoopy hot air balloon ride. here i am starting to feel really ill. {kaylee, that little nugget, was spinning us around}

while kaylee and mike road the ocean motion again, i did get a little dry heave-e. felt better after a little burp + some tic tacs.

finally convinced ham to ride the wicked twister with mike.

it went up pretty high. ham said it wasn't that bad. and here i sneaked another pic of ham. {he's so handsome}

we were waiting for mike and kaylee to finish their ride. the night before they wouldnt let kaylee ride this saying she was too

short. this time it was a dude and he let her go.

the night before mike and i decided we didnt want to drive home after spending a whole day at the park so we called up great wolf lodge but they ended up being a pain in the butt so we called kalahari water park to see if they had any rooms available. so about 1pm in the afternoon we headed over to see if our room was ready. we ate some lunch and spent the rest of the day getting our tans on.

it really did feel like we were in florida with all the fake palm trees and nice weather.

ate dinner at one of the restuarants there in our hotel/water park. it wasnt very good and the service was kinda bad.

we went back to cedar point to finish using our 2 day pass. kaylee and i waiting in line to ride the jr. gemini.

we got to go around twice since its such a short ride. the second time kaylee went no hands!

we couldnt convince ham to ride the dragster with mike but he did go on the raptor before leaving the amusement park.

mike and i went down to the bar once kaylee was asleep. ham got to babysit.

their strawberry splash was super yummy! {my second one for the day} and i got to see some music videos for once.

design star

i've started watching design star this season on hgtv. the other seasons just never caught my attention.

while i'm not a big fan of all the seriousness, i am a fan of nathan and dan. and was relieved to finally see tashica morgan finally get kicked off. she was super annoying.

this is from last weeks challenge. everything was bought from a grocery store. i wish i had more guts to do something like this in my house.

this room was done by nathan galui. love it all, though i would add more furniture to the room. according to mike- i am the furniture lady.

and this room was done by my favorite hottie- dan vickery. i wouldn't change a thing in the room. {doesn't he look like he could be an o'connell brother?}

cedar point: day one {tuesday}

so tuesday we headed out a little after 10am. i was out of allergy medicine and had to wait for target pharmacy to open. before heading to target, mike got gas and went over a huge bump which caused my rear end, well not my but the car's rear end to drop again. our local mechanic dude rigged it so all we had to do was fill it up with air and it was as good as new(?)

ham decided that getting up and leaving by 9am would be an inconvenience so he had the brilliant idea of not going to bed at all the night before. here he is suffering the car ride before falling asleep. he slept the whole way there.

we only had to make one stop because little nugget kaylee was hungry for her "5th meal" by 11am.

we got to our hotel a little after 1pm. here's ham and kaylee duking it out on whose bed is whose. {ham, the princess, got the bed to himself while kaylee, mike and i shared the other one. i know. spoiled}

decided to spend rest of the day enjoying the great weather at the water park, soak city.

kaylee went down her first water slide all by herself. she doesn't like water in her face so we were really proud. {it was small and hardly any water splashed up}

mike and ham enjoyed some water slides too.

kaylee even got a new swim soup. {kayleeism}

after the water park, we got ready for some dinner and a night at cedar point. we ate at the hotel restaurant called tomo.

a japanese restuarant. the food was really good but it wasnt a hani yori's.

she even rode on the ocean motion. she definitely lives up to her nickname- crazy kaylee!
